The Big Ten should have some protocol for this. They probably should at least delay the tipoff a couple of hours. (I know they didn’t for us in 2017…)

Northwestern got sick of playing close games.
I never said he sucks. In fact, I said he was good. What I said was that I don’t understand the hype he gets (all-B10, higher NBA draft projection than Kofi or Hunter, etc). He’s a PF who can’t shoot that plays as an undersized center in a league full of actual centers. He hustles and has some post moves against mortal centers but if he isn’t getting to the FT line or faces a bigger guy he’s just good, not great.
Similar to those stats we have seen of the Iowa stats dominating lesser opponents I would love to see TJD stats against big time opponents. Don’t get me wrong, he’s good and I would like him on Michigan, but I think he’s over hyped.

Hoiberg might want to slip out the back and avoid the post-game talk.

They just called a tech on Izzo…that ref may never work another B10 game.
And the announcers are incredulous! Can’t believe they called it on him and said the refs should have let it go. Crazy

Yeah, the announcers’ take that the refs should “consider what’s at stake” can easily be rephrased to “Izzo should consider what’s at stake”.
It’s been talked about to death… But he really does get a free pass for those tantrums, it’s just odd.

As you might expect with the Fox broadcast…they never showed it. They showed the play that Izzo was mad about and agreed it was a good no call. Never showed what Izzo did to earn it or which ref called it.

That really surprises me Fox rarely goes to break when there’s something big happening in the game when the clock is stopped.

can’t decide if it’s good if Rutgers works there way into a Q2 game against us or if we want them to stay far away from the bubble.
I thought it was odd last week when Izzo kept going on about how he knew MSU was a top 10 team. I see them as more a top 25 team that’s overachieved.
