idk if I would call Scott Drew realistic.

If they’ll hire a “scummy guy” might they consider a certain former Kentucky and Louisville coach who’s dancing this year?

Is Drew scummy?

Is water wet?

Yeah it doesn’t make a ton of sense for Scott Drew either. He’s been at Baylor for two decades. He’s a strong cultural fit there, has them good enough to win national titles, and his connection to the state of Indiana isn’t through IU… It’s through his Dad coaching at Valpo.

to the max

I believe Baylor has had a lot of NCAA infractions / off the field issues during his tenure. I believe Drew is very Dabo-like in his aesthetic.

yeah it is a pretty open secret how he dug out from the Bliss scandal. It wasn’t just elbow grease

Well, this firing probably did a lot for the mental health of people in the Hoosier State :stuck_out_tongue:

Was Rob Dauster always like this or has he become much more free with his zingers since parting with NBC Sports?

Some past Archie player reactions to the news

So will Archie go the studio analyst reputation rehab route or think someone will grab him off the scrap heap right away?

Shrewsberry being linked to PSU. Looks like Saddi missed out.

As much as Saddi should definitely be a good HC candidate this cycle, Shrewsberry makes a ton of sense if you’re going to the assistant route at a P5 school.

Curious to see if JB gets back in the game and what players transfer. It would seem unlikely he’d want to coach against his former team but stranger things have happened. Checks a few boxes:

Basketball School
Success recruiting in the state
Blue Blood history
Not a complete rebuild

Should be interesting…

“I’ll have Lander for a season or two if he’s actually gonna be good? Sign me up!”

Darn it

Minnesota seems like a better fit for Beilein than IU. Is it just me?
