Minnesota junior guard Gabe Kalscheur (broken hand) is out tonight vs. Indiana, will be out indefinitely. He has started 88 games, is averaging 9.2 ppg. #iubb

Damn, this won’t help Minnesota pull off the upset of Illinois on Saturday
B2B home games vs Neb is a Christmas gift in Feb for Turgeon.
Kalscheur is a plus defender but he’s such a train wreck on offense. I assume this means more Mash, Jr and his love of ill-advised jumpers.
More precisely, his Chinese New Year red envelope from the conference.
gotta say I am expecting pretty much a 40-minute clinic from IU tonight given the Kalscheur and Robbins injuries and Minnesota’s home/road splits.

I don’t know the Maryland-Nebraska line but I presume some bettors are sweating hard at this finish
Oooooooh that was weird, I would have kept fouling
Tom Izzo’s postgame presser from last night is fun. It pops up when you go to the story:
That’s what I don’t get about Izzo. It feels like he is over coaching. He thought enough of Bingham to start him both halves, but only played him three minutes. Marble was great…and he sat him for a long stretch of Kithier when the game was decided. Sissoko had a good first half and never played again. Brown makes a few plays and gets just 13 minutes. I don’t get it.
Assuming they lose their next game and the season is basically over, they should give starters minutes to Hoggard, Brown, Hall, Hauser, Sissoko, and Marble. See what you have.

Minnesota’s gold uniforms are like an off-brand knockoff of ours.
I’ve wondered about scheduling a game on Tuesday the 8th. Could play Illinois there or even on Wednesday, since both teams wouldn’t start BTT until Friday. Could just play it in Indy. That’d give us flexibility to make sure we make up 3 games anyway.
interesting idea
Indiana does not look like a team interested in fighting for a postseason berth. Pretty sure you’re losing that bet with BQ, @umhoops.
OTOH, I like your Maryland pick to get into the big dance.
Okay, I may have spoken too soon.

Indiana guy palm strikes Johnson in the face and Indiana gets free throws?
