It seems unlikely, but maybe we are seeing a second year of getting used to the longer FIBA line and more reps at that distance improving after the first year adjustment to it? Doesn’t explain all of those examples, but probat a factor.
Purdue sociably let’s the game end at 8:00pm instead of futilely extending the game with fouls. Kudos to them
Hoggard starting at PG for MSU. Rocket to 6th man?
Rocket Watts coming off the bench!
yikes, initial impression looks like MSU ready to play
Geez the floor slap on the 2nd defensive possession
Hahahahah that’s too good
Let’s go ‘skers
A few more 3-pt anomalies:
- Jairus Hamilton (Maryland): career 28.8% shooter (45/167), shooting 44.4% (16/36) this season
- Donta Scott (Maryland): career 31.6% shooter (25/79), shooting 59.4% (19/32) this season
Hoggard/Loyer playing all 40 minutes at PG and Rocket only playing part time minutes at SG seems less than ideal for your defensive potential. If that’s the way it works out
You guys think when Rocket and Izzo came to the mutually agreed upon decision that he needs to play more shooting guard that Rocket also agreed he should come off the bench?
Edit: Come off the bench AFTER Loyer, Brown, Hall and Marble. Insane!
Looks like MSU has decided three point line does not exist
Both teams look like a mess so far
Michigan State looks pretty bad
Loyer looks so incredibly small and slow. My eyes can’t make sense of it. It’s actually scary because it looks like he’s going to get hurt at any second.
Credit to Hoggard with the block leading to the nice pass on fast break
Incredible 0 point and 1 assist performance so far
I would never play on a team with Teddy Allen. 13 dribble possession that ends with an offensive foul. Putrid
And they were losing at the time Hoggard subbed out
Heh, stuff like that doesn’t stop the “BQ is an MSU homer” train.
Nebraska is straight up terrible offensively
