Definitely should have been an and 1. Just absurd that it wasn’t!
For those that aren’t watching the game.
I’m generally astonished at the way Kaleb Wesson is officiated
He came down on Cowan and knocked him to the floor, clearly a foul. Cowan should have been at the FT line, instead, because of horrible officiating, he’s on the bench with his fifth foul. Ridiculous.
We all win when Kevin Harlan is announcing college games.
I don’t really enjoy Harlan. He uses the same exact voice and inflection after nearly every single basket. It dilutes it when there’s a moment that actually warrants that level of excitement imo. The highlights of our Elite 8 game against FSU in 2018 is a good example.
I seriously cannot believe Kaleb Wesson finished this game on the floor.
I’m not even listening to the play by play. I have it on mute. What did the announcers (Harlan) say?
Ok this is getting ridiculous
I just think he’s one of the best play by play guys in the business. Good for an iconic call or three every year.
So what did he say about the no call on Wesson and the F1 on Cowan’ for expressing frustration in the heat of the moment after getting screwed by the official?
Basically said it was unsportsmanlike
Cowan? Really? Wow!
Michigan women’s team with a 4 point lead @ MSU going into the 4th on BTN. A win would give Michigan the season sweep.
And the sweep is official! Naz Hillmon with a big game to get it done.
Assuming Michigan wins out, big assumption, it doesn’t seem that unrealistic to get a share of first place.
Maryland needs to lose at least 2 of next 3 (@Minn, MSU, @Rutgers). Then MSU, PSU, Iowa, and Illinois all need to lose at least once more.
The three of MSU, PSU, Iowa still all have one game against each other plus the rest of their remaining games. Illinois has Nebraska, @Northwestern, Indiana, @OSU, Iowa.
Maryland will be playing two teams desperate for a marquee win and MSU. It seems likely that all of the current 6 loss teams will lose at least once more given that 3 of the 4 have a round robin among themselves.
Edit: I guess a better way to phrase this pipe dream is that it doesn’t seem unlikely that the first place team(s) are 13-7. Michigan still has a chance, albeit slim, at 13-7.
I would guess our best chance at a double bye comes from Illinois finishing 11-9 thus not being involved in the tiebreak.
She will easily be the best Michigan player of all time when her career is done. Only a sophomore and one of the best players in the conference
Simpson and Teske have nothing on Dilk and Hillmon!!!
Easily THE best?
