At the time, I was rooting for NW to make the tournament (though not at our expense obviously) but when it actually happened it was kind of a letdown. Never making the tournament was their thing. Not a real good thing to be known for, but it was a thing. Now they’ve got nothing. It’s like the Cubs winning the World Series, it just wasn’t right by the laws of nature.

Kyle Young just sprained his ankle against MD. Would be shocked if he could go next Sunday.

If OSU wins today, it likely makes the head-to-head matchup a deciding game.
OSU will be 8-8 with Nebraska, MSU and Iowa on their schedule, which is very similar to our remaining schedule outside of OSU. Given that our records are the same for those three games, the head-to-head could very well push them into a tie with us, where they have the tiebreaker. On the other hand, if we win, we’d be two games ahead.

Cowan just got called for one because he kicked his feet in frustration, without making contact with anyone, because he should’ve had an and-1.

What an absolute joke of a job by the refs here. Miss a foul committed by OSU on Cowan, then Cowan gets pissed that they missed a call, so because he shakes his leg the refs give him a T which is his 5th. Love the ref show.
