Wow - what are comparable suspensions with other players/schools? Rutgers needs this season to end well, so I guess that put them in a tough position on how long they could go shorthanded
Northwestern up 11 on Rutgers at half. At Rutgers.
They were up I think 29-11 at one point. So Rutgers actually came back and cut the lead before the half.
The Rutgers story this year is great, but their greatest strength is how hard they play. When they don’t play hard (like tonight) they just don’t have the talent to get by.
Meanwhile, it’s slightly disconcerting to see Northwestern playing hard and on the verge of a quality road win. We’ve got to be ready to go in Evanston.
