I want to win at Maryland badly, especially on their court on Cowans’ senior night. If we lose, and it happens to keep MSU from a banner, that’s a decent enough consolation prize. But I’ll never “root” for UM to lose.
I believe Duke hangs banners for regular season “titles” despite the conference not officially recognizing them. At least they have one for 2010.
Too much discussion of non-B1G teams here too often. But, I get that it is used to make a point regarding the topic at hand. With that, I’m guilty asking why is Duke so highly ranked yet has several “bad” losses, including at home to unranked teams, and doesn’t show up on the adjusted efficiency chart above? Just sayin…
Big Shot Ayo.
Teske on a 4-24 streak from three right now. Season 16-63 - .254
… at some point the upside of possibly stretching the floor is being outweighed by the downside of a 25% shooter taking shots that are highly unlikely to go in and thus wasting possessions
Nunez 11-43 - .256
Teske is worst of all rotation players
Posting here because it’s relevant to the last two comments. Livers is 8/29 from 3 since returning against MSU
Seems obvious to me his movement is still hampered by injuries.
His .427 from deep is still far and away the best on the team.
Been at that point
8 BIG teams in the new AP poll, not sure if I’ve seen that many in the polls this year.
It’s not a slump anymore. He takes terrible looking shots when posting up that have virtually no chance of going in. I’m cool with him getting the ball on PnR but straight posts up are a lost cause.
Teske needs to face the basket when shooting imo. Even if he catches the ball in the post, he needs to do the Jack Sikma reverse pivot and shoot short jumpers or pass the ball.
Wow what a low bar to set. He gets an extension every time they make the tournament?
The only program in the B1G a deal like that would make sense for is Northwestern. Maybe Nebraska. Seems kind of silly at a program like Illinois.
A program like Illinois that hasn’t made the tournament in 7 years.
I don’t think I’d like Underwood to ever be my coach, but Champaign isn’t a destination job. They’re smart to try and lock him in…he’s changed his style of play and it has impressed me.
