Assorted Notes

Is there any chance we take 2 wings in 2015 or is it first come first serve for a commitment. Wouldn't mind at all if We got 2 of Ali, Coleman and Brooks or even Milton as well.
The priority of '15 is a 2/3, after that is the best available regardless of position.

Seth Dugan – 2015 – C – ACB Bank Hoops 7-0 – Ostego HS – Ostego, MI There’s a lot to like about Dugan, who has seen his recruiting stock rise over the past few months. The seven-footer has a great build and showed some nice post skills and footwork in a win over Chi-City Elite. Dugan scored a game-high 18 points and blocked a few shots. He’s also able to step out and shoot the basketball from three-point range if given space. -

Seth Dugan has offers from Lehigh, Oakland (MI), Nichols State, Wofford, Toledo, La Salle, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, Western Kentucky, Loyola (IL), and Eastern Michigan. Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, and Vanderbilt are showing interest.

Is Ahmad still showing any interest in us? I thought we were out of his preferred grouping?

He wants to visit in August but claims to want to decide in August.

I think its Maryland or OSU.

I think its Maryland or OSU.

That would give OSU a complete/solid 5 man class that could play on the floor all at once. I’d definitely say Michigan’s chances are farther fetched at this point than others, but will wait for the visit to see. I’m still kind of expecting no more than 2 players in the 2015 class.

I personally think Maryland has a great chance. He has visited them 2 or 3 times.

I don’t think he makes an AA visit.

Tyus or Gary?

John Calipari, Rick Pitino, Billy Donovan, Tom Izzo, John Beilein, Jamie Dixon, Gregg Marshall, Indiana, Iowa St. here for Scan vs. Spiece.

That second one is extra vomit inducing.

@EvanDaniels: Dillon Brooks is at it again. Has double digits in first half. Hit a three, a pull up from 18 and another three buckets at the rim.

Dillon Brooks is one of those players who was unstoppable in every event he has been in (25ppg, leading scorer in FIBA) but scouts didn’t rank him high because he “isn’t uber athletic.” Kid is top 30 and right there with Ali, Dozier and Coleman.

I admit I haven’t watched a ton of video - just two clips - of Brooks. From those videos, it didn’t seem like he had a bunch of skill, but what he had was a bunch of strength. Not really long arms. Could he just be peaking at the right time, during the summer before his senior year? I could be way off, but I see more upside with Ali and Dozier.

Why are you telling me what to do?

Why are you telling me what to do?

If I have that type of power over you then something in your life must be lacking. Seriously man, just move on already, you’re vendetta is somewhat disturbing.

Meyer doesn’t look silly. Battle got a Duke offer TODAY. Malik Monk had taken precedent over Battle for UK before that. You were wrong.

Battle and Langford both like Duke and UM. No one is going to be disappointed splitting, if that were to happen.

Oh yeah, no Battle to UK is a good thing for UM regarding DTJR.

IDK maybe Cal goes after Langford as soon as he hears JB and UM offered?

Actually Battle was offered by Duke YESTERDAY. The reason I stated that it could’ve been a simple typo on Meyer’s behalf is that the prediction change to UM isn’t even reflected, it’s reflects Meyer’s previous prediction as Cuse.

What was I wrong about - please expand

In any event, Battle isn’t coming here, plain and simple. I do agree with you though, Battle going anywhere but UK works in our favor.

The news of Duke offering leaked today, UK offering Monk leaked a few days ago, hence Meyer going with the logical choice of UM.

We can debate semantics all day, but at the end of the day Battle isn’t likely to come here, and that’s all that matters. Totally on board with Battle to Duke though, Would be better for us for DT, who im higher on anyways.
