I think the fouling and everything from the Heat was fine. The Wizards are the morons for ever being so bad as to let it get that close anyway. I have no problem with a team supporting their guy to help get him to a milestone like that.
If you are the Wizards you need to be at least close enough in the game to deter behavior like that if it could cost the Heat the game. The Wizards were not close enough because they suck.
Iâm wondering why Saar only played 20 minutes. Did the Wiz just take him out because it was a blowout? It looks like he was having a good game with 28 points.
You wonât remember the second highest scoring game in NBA history?
Itâll be a good trivia answer. I know heâs got many more years left in his career so things can change but I donât project him as a HOFer at this point.
Itâll be interesting to see if he makes it. The Basketball HOF is notoriously easy to get into and he has 3 All Stars, 5 All Defense Teams, 2 Gold Medals, and 2 finals appearances. If he makes 2-3 more All Stars and wins another Gold Medal I could definitely see him sneaking in.
The funniest part of the whole thing was Spo challenging an obvious charge which was immediately upheld then the next time down the floor Bam getâs assaulted but the Wizards challenge that and it gets immediately upheld again
Yeah, I suppose so if he does those things.
But right now, I look at players like Larry Nance, Shawn Kemp, Rasheed Wallace, Chris Bosh, and Amare Stoudamire who havenât made it and think theyâre all on his level if not better.
They are easing Saar back as this was game two for him after a month long absence with a hamstring injury.
(Chris Bosh is in the HOF, sorry to be pedantic)
Duncâd On had Cade Cunningham as the #1 Small forward in the NBA (basically, they categorize guys as who they guard, Luka is in here too)
Good! My research staff (Late-night me. Sober but tired) will get a stern talking to. I didnât blow it on anyone else, did I?
Holy smokes - busy day so just heard about Bamâs 83. One of the most surprising performances I can think of. Kobe, sure, but Bam???
bam, just like kobe, will go his entire career without ever being the best player in the nba, so it makes sense in that way
Kobe Bryant was not just some normal NBA player. No indeed: He was the second-best shooting guard in the history of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise, and something like the 11th-best Laker overall, and possibly one of the dozen or so best players who played the bulk of their careers between 1996 and 2016; at his peak, he was almost as good as Tracy McGrady, his contemporary. In some seasons he was debatably the third- or fourth-best player in the NBA, if you feel like being generous. This is not a distinction you can bestow on just any old guy, although it is one you could argue for bestowing on something like eight different players in any given NBA season. Also, he died in a helicopter crash at the age of 41. It is for these reasons that Bryantâs professional achievements must never be surpassed by anyone.
This was a masterpiece.
Literally was the best player in the league in 08.
LeBron James
Saying Kobe was âalmost as goodâ as TMac is a take
