Troy Weaver is the GM! lol
A prospect and 3 FRP is too rich for my blood for Murphy. If it’s a player and a FRP, then sure.

The Pistons bench really had a rough night tonight. I think Stew is playing hurt.
Did Ivey even play in the 2nd half?
I mean, over his last 15 games, Embiid had scored 29 a game on 64% true shooting, that’s why a team would want him, but also why the Sixers won’t trade him. I saw the last half and OT of their win over the Rockets a few days ago, and he’s really moving much better than he was at the start of the year and much much much better than last year. Now, I’ve learned to expect the bottom to fall out health wise, but he can definitely still play, at least until the next knee problem pops up.
I’ve never put much stock in the “Embiid chokes” narrative because he’s constantly, like, broken his orbital bone in his face in the playoffs which seems really flukey. Sixers aren’t a title contender but if he’s still at this level come playoff time, I really wouldn’t want to play them.
Quite a showing from Flagg and Kneuppel last night against one another. Flagg had 49 points and Kneuppel 34. I think Kneuppel is way better as a rookie than anyone thought he would be. Flagg obviously came in with a ton of hype and I actually think he’s exceeded it considering his age.
Kneuppel is an awesome offensive player - he’s flirting with 50/40/90 at a 22% usage at age 20, and is a pretty solid secondary playmaker too. He is, at least, not embarrassing defensively.
Flagg has been much better since they decided to not make him play PG, which always seemed nuts. Efficiency is just fine, but as crazy as it sounds, the offensive ecosystem in Dallas is way less functional than in Charlotte, who is actually a top 5 offense. Obviously, as high minute, above average usage (both around 22%) players they own part of that fact as well.
I was thinking more of it happening from Embiid’s side. Every year it’s either he’s injured or the team around him just isn’t good enough (Or both). Atp I’m just wondering if he’s on the verge of requesting a trade cause he’s turning 32 in March and has yet to win more than one playoff series in one season. I haven’t watched Philly this season but I’m not sold on them doing better than 2nd round exit.
He didn’t, despite the struggles from the rest of the bench. He didn’t have a good first half but he wasn’t alone.
Embiid for Davis trade? Swapping two glass slippers?
It’s clearly because my Suns are a Western conference powerhouse.
They’re not bad, that’s for sure. But I think they’re limited.
Well okay, great timing PG

I’m curious as to what drugs they were. I’m guessing PED’s.
Coming out of Michigan, Not sure I had THJ being top 20 all time in made 3 pointers and passing a legend like Dirk.
Paul George says he took an improper medication and referred to mental health. If it’s some sort of legitimate prescription drug, he should appeal. He’s set to lose nearly $12 million dollars for the time missed.
I doubt anything would come of an appeal. My context is mostly baseball, but every player ever who has tested positive for PEDs has a reason. No one has ever tested positive and the put out a statement saying “Yup I did it, my bad.” There’s always some sort of health reason.
Additionally, if it’s like the MLB, the burden is on the player to understand that what they’re putting in their body doesn’t violate the drug policy. If it’s a prescription drug, then there should be some avenue for him to go to the league and make sure it’s approved. If not, he can either try to get an exemption or find an alternative. If there isn’t any proof of him doing something like that that, this just reads as every other flimsy excuse by an athlete popped for PEDs and he’ll serve his time
If it’s even vaguely plausible for mental health I have a hard time thinking it’s a PED
Charlotte took down San Antonio this afternoon. They’ve now won 6 in a row. They’re 11-6 in January with wins over OKC, Denver, the Lakers, and the Spurs. They’re just two games behind the Bulls for the last play-in spot. Moussa had another double-double today, too boot.
My money is on a Ketamine infusion.
those Philly peeps love their Ketamine and Nitrous
My guess was ketamine
But the idea of the NBA suspending people for plain old recreational drug use is very funny to me
