Out of the current team, Book, Tatum, Ant and Bam seem to be locks for ā€˜28 Olympics. The next generation will be interesting to watch for. Flagg would have to be part of the team if he lives up to the hype.

Not sure whoā€™s the big for the team. We have Bam. Not sure about AD. I think this is it for Embiid.

No Flagg. Duke disqualifier.

Same for Tatum.

I donā€™t think AD is a lock. Heā€™s oft injured and will be 35. Iā€™d give KD as much chance as him

2028 will be the most interesting cycle in a while for the US. The play of Ant and Tatum this Olympics certainly doesnā€™t make you feel great. Also the fact this will likely be the first team since 2000 that doesnā€™t have an MVP winner on it

Well I think I speak for all of us when I say that was a phenomenal Olympics for team USA hoops. Think we are all good on our basketball fix and could care less about umich hoops now since USA won gold

Iā€™m hoping that Cade keeps leveling up.

As for bigs, yeahā€¦I donā€™t know. JJJ by default?

Maybe Chet gains 30 pounds over the next 4 years?

Bam probably still. Mobley and Chet. Maybe Lively develops more.

Cade, Ivey, Ausar, Holland, and Duren all have a great chance

Itā€™s definitely good timing for the Olympics to be on U.S. soil next time. It might be the most vulnerable U.S. team in a bit but the home crowds will help.

Need at least 3 bigs to deal to Jokic. Bam for sure but I donā€™t know who else. Do Chet or Mobley have the girth? Could see Clingan or Lively and then hopefully AD or Embid can still play.

Chet, Mobley, Bam, JJJ, Kessler, Turner, Lively, Clingan. Off the top of my head. Pretty solid on bigs honestly.

Dipping to that level, Duren might as well be on the list. Heā€™s got to expand his game, though.

Flagg, Dybantsa, and Boozer could be on there as well

Oh and Banchero could be a star by then. Heā€™s already played with team USA as well

With his footwork, vertical, passing and touch, Duran can be a really good offensive player. And heā€™s already a good rebounder. Heā€™s not going to be a rim protector but if he can become average on defenseā€¦

Truth be told I donā€™t think Iā€™ve seen Jalen Duren play a minute of NBA basketball. But I feel pretty confident putting him behind all those guys save Clingan. from what Iā€™ve seen of the others
