Bill Self owes part of this championship to John Beilein tbh
Yeah those schools on the Plains are weird. They reverse their initials for some reason.
Man I always forget that. The KU abbreviation they use always makes me equate to Kansas University.
Watch that video. The floor moves under his foot. Absolutely terrible. You know the basketball gods are against you when the floor starts to fall apart on your biggest possession of the game, reinjuring your star.
Or did coach k just get his revenge by sabotage at halftime?
Carolina gonna lose sleep blowing a 15 point lead in the title game
That is actually insane. The force from the bounce back of the floor board seemed to have caused the ankle roll. That is bonkers
Was Bacot’s turned ankle vs Duke on that side of the floor? If so the paint area down there was very unfriendly.
Really to Dan Gilbert, who obviously hired Beilein to damage Michigan, thus handing Wilson to Kansas and allowing Self to pass… Izzo. FYS lol
I can’t recall ever seeing the floor come up like that. Awful.
99 boards for Bacot in six tournament games. Unreal.
Kudos to Kansas but MAN they caught some breaks playing injured teams. Creighton center, Moore on Nova and gimpy UNC. Got to play a 10 seed in Elite Eight too. They deserve being champions but a loooot of good breaks in there.
Yea , they are a top team but the breaks were real.
Still would take Zona over them in a series…
Michigan finishes 27th in Kenpom. 16th in Juwan’s first year. 3rd in his second.
Very generous OSM. We got a bunch of clips and Sparty’s only clip was them losing
We got tons of clips in one shining moment! Mostly Juwan too!!
I felt like Zona got a bit overconfident/cocky. Certainly the highest ceiling when they were clicking on all cylinders. Probably the champions in a NBA series format, that’s for sure.
I think Krisa being injured really just killed them. It was so much harder to defend them when him killing you from 3 was an option for them.
