Despite no buzzer beaters (I think…) what an incredible tournament. Great final 2 games and intrigue at every step of the way.

Kind of sucks that the game was decided on a rolled ankle. Bacot had a step on that drive. Instead a TO, then a free post up on Manek, then Caleb Love and Puff Johnson heroics fail.
That kind of leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Also, Jalen Wilson totally was a deer in headlights because he airballed a 3 and it wasn’t a sportsmanship thing lol.

KU really turned up the defense, no doubt. They played with desperation all second half and it actually worked.
I feel for Bacot personally, but not UNC overall, not when they got a title because we called a timeout…

UNC had some seriously bad injury luck in this one. So tough to get all the way to the final and be that compromised.
