Wow. Probably not gonna get a better look than that. What a game.
We are STILL the only program to win it all with a first-year coach!
From the Michigan perspective my immediate reaction is I’m okay with this result. Self passes Izzo and Davis does not pass Juwan
Oof! Imagine pulling an us vs IU in the 1st round of the BTT except in the championship final.
He hesitated
Phew thank goodness.
Was Manek falling and not being able to get up have any bearing on the play? At first I thought so, but they probably weren’t going to get a better 3PA.
This is entirely how I look at everything. Was literally about to post this. Kansas is facing 5 level 1 violations and whatever, my overwhelming interest is what is good for Michigan and I couldn’t deal with Hubert winning. Period.
Whatever. UNC had some charm to them this year but I’m glad I pulled myself out of that headspace. Kansas never has any charm at all, but the fact that Duke has a rival doesn’t make that rival unhateable.
Self and Izzo actually both have the same number of titles since Michigan State was going to win it all in 2020 if the tournament wasn’t cancelled.
Had the same thought. Can’t imagine Manek running to the far corner was the play but it eliminated a very viable option. And still a good look off it.
Ugh well let’s hear it for Bill Self’s dad.
feel like Kansas just sneaked into the championship
So how many UM moments make it into “One Shining Moment?” Juwan consoling Chandler will probably make it, I imagine.
I’m legitimately super relieved. I feel like Hubert Davis could steal Juwan’s heat, at the end of the day what’s best for us is all that matters
To be fair Love finishes a lot of those usually. His ankle appeared to bother him pretty bad.
There’s literally 100% chance of Juwan and Chandler making it in.
Agreed. Would’ve been jealous had the first year coach won the natty.
If it’s the last time I see Hunter doing that dumb 3 point celebration, I hope it’s in slo mo to this song.
Could see the Eli skyhook into the Juwan consoling Chandler moment
