If I did this right, it looks like it (B1G tourney champ losing in the first round) has only happened 3 times: today, MSU in 2016 and … Iowa again in 2006 (lost as a 3 seed in the first round, oof).

Illinois fans are out here acting like winning the big ten tournament is some curse and I’m like Michigan and msu have won that plenty of times recent and had 0 issue in the tournament. That’s a you and Iowa issue not a BTT issue
