Not a surprising plot twist frankly
KD is a smart dude. He keeps wanting to do ball movement but the reality, it doesn’t work because he’s more of a iso scorer at heart. GSW was able to make it work because Steph and Klay are selfless teammates and they can shoot the hell out of it.
That’s why Cade has a perfect balance of being able to score in iso but is a willing teammate who wants to do ball movement. Pistons just need to continue to develop him and surround him with better teammates.
For sure. It’s why while KD made some great plays playing the point later in the year and has the ability to play the role, as you say, he’s an iso scorer at heart.
Some serious atha-letes in this Grizz-Wolves series. Two highlight dunks wiped off the board by insane blocks.
Not watching rn but with Ant and Ja on display, I’m not surprised.
Deleted previous because it’s better with the audio:
And the audio is great too. Nailed the call
Still pretty into JJJ but man how you gonna foul out in 17 min in a playoff game
Ian Eagle is a treasure
That dunk unlocked Morant
Woah, that was a nice set from the Wolves to get that game tying 3. Ant Edwards is going to be so good.
EDIT: Here it is:
This ending was unbelievable
Then Ant Edwards overplays to give Ja the scooping game winner. What a fun series.
Man that was a great game. Ja went crazy in the 4th
Being a Timberwolves fan is very very hard you guys. Trust me.
Cam Johnson will dunk on people
If the Suns aren’t willing to give Ayton the max, I want him for the Pistons. Perfect fit for Cade as a lob threat, rim runner with potential to stretch with his shooting. He showed flashes of it but isn’t asked to do it for the Suns.
Love ayton
He has improved so much on defense that it’s a testament to his hard work. He was bad, bad, bad at Arizona. He was bad in his rookie year. He got better after it. Now, he’s one of the best rim protector in the league.
If the Suns don’t want to give him the max, then the Pistons can do it. Get someone like JSJ in the lottery. All of the sudden, you have an attractive lineup for the future.
I hate to be the wet blanket here, but the Pistons, like 75% of the league, aren’t really a FA destination.
