I’m convinced the Celtics drafted Patrick O’Bryant (who is black) just for the jersey sales.

Poole got an assist within the next 5 seconds via a pass to Klay lol

tbf to the Prichard jersey wearer, Pritchard is a pretty awesome talent. His performance against Michigan was enough to convince me he is, or is going to be, really good.

Hey, what is Brooklyn doing? Is Nash running anything? Defense is helter-skelter and the only offensive system they have is Kevin Durant and inshallah.

I can not stand the Celtics getting a sweep here, please stop fuxing around for the love of god.

They haven’t run offense in 2 years. The entire idea was “we have the three best isolation scorers in the league”.

This is all Kyrie’s fault. If I were KD I’d be furious. I lost the one serious guy in my team in Harden because of a wannabe shaman, and got the biggest standing joke in the NBA in the form of Ben Simmons in return. But alas, it seems like KD is complicit in this org’s complete lack of seriousness.

I don’t think this is a Nash problem. They just have too many players the Celtics can hunt defensively. Be curious what they’d look like with Simmons (and Harris.)

I think Simmons’ problems extend well beyond his back and he probably shouldn’t be counted on. That trade was like two people exchanging grenades with the pin pulled.

Are you saying Harden is a proverbial grenade? That was an incredible trade for the Sixers, it was more like someone paying you to take an avocado from them.

EDIT: This is 100% Kyrie’s fault.

I’m sorry but Steve Nash is awful. What exactly would you say he does there? Is he a people person?

How does nobody box out there?

Let’s see if Harden can play to replacement level after the first round.

Edit: wait he’s starting his choke early

He’s a yes man at Brooklyn. Kyrie has said that they don’t need a coach because they can do it themselves. Well, that comment has aged quite poorly.

Plus Kyrie is a franchise killer. If it weren’t for LBJ, he would be seen as a loser who can’t lift up the team. To me, he’s bad news.

That was an asterisk series anyways after LeBron baited Green and Silver put his thumb on the scale.

Steve Nash just finished his 2nd season, this year was terrible but that had little to do with Nash and more to do with Kyrie. I thought the Nets did fine last year, no Kyrie the final 3 games against the Bucks. They did have Harden, a healthy Joe Harris and probably a better version of Blake Griffin that is washed now. In sports it truly can be a game of inches and if Durant doesn’t have his toe on the line they beat the Bucks in game 7. Giannis doesn’t win a championship, maybe the Nets beat the Hawks and who knows what happens after that. They have to see it through in regards to Simmons still feel he didn’t play due to is impending grievance against the 76ers.

He’s an incredible player tbh. On the court, he can he be tremendously fun to watch. But he’s a grade A moron.

He’s fun to watch as an individual player for sure. As a team player, not so much.

Similar to KD in that regard. Like, the idea of Kevin Durant is almost greater than the reality of Kevin Durant. He is the archetype of a would be basketball God but there’s something missing in KD’s game that other players of his caliber have in willing their teams to success.

Wright with the 76ers would be pretty cool, I could see him doing very well.
