2022 NBA Playoffs Open Thread

I don’t like the Celtics, but this Nets team is a special breed of dislikable.

If I thought they had a chance to be the champs I could imagine changing preferences. The basketball is pretty ugly too so overall a series to be avoided.

This dude makes phenomenal videos and he broke down the Warriors run the other day which was largely done in part by JP

Ben Taylor is great. His best players in history blog posts were/are awesome.

Never thought I’d hear the words ‘Aaron Gordon is too slow for Poole’

I have heard (Zach Lowe) refer to the Warriors new “death lineup” (Steph, Poole, Klay, Wiggins, Draymond) as “The Poole Party”

Which I enjoyed

The West seems to be wide open for Memphis or GSW to walk through into the Finals with Book being out for an extended period of time with a hamstring injury. If GSW is as good as we think they are, they should win the West but we’ll see.

Memphis, you say?

DARKO loves Wolves vs Memphis FYI

This looks like our first half against CSU. Memphis clawed its way back into the game

Ja channeling Eli Brooks with the go and catch, let’s teach that to whatever 2s and 3s are on the squad next year :+1::+1:

KAT is not the guy

He pooped in his litter box.

4 shots in 33 minutes. One of the most confusing games (for KAT and both teams) I’ve seen

Lots of talk about Poole and curry back but draymond has been the best player in this series

That was clearly just a first and third quarter projection.

Also - the Jazz should be truly embarrassed. Almost as much as the Wolves.

I mean, Poole has been considerably better than the injured Curry. But sure, Draymond has been playing really well, up to his usual standard. I still think Poole has been more impactful.

Just as I type that, Draymond pickpockets Nikola Jokic in crunch time.

Oh my god Brunson

It’s going to sound like an insult, but it’s not…Draymond reminds me of Anthony Mason (who I grew up watching in the Knicks) if Mason was brilliant and dedicated to the game. Instead of carrying a serious self-destructive streak (Biggie’s “I’ve Got A Story To Tell” goes into further detail, where Mase is the unidentified basketball player).

Draymond is just an unreal defender, probably the best I’ve seen since Hakeem.
