That was a fantastic game.
Almost as if SVG set back the Pistons as an org with some of his late stage Dumarsesque moves. He reached the pinnacle of hopelessness with Detroit, assembling a team that’s not good enough to win a playoff game but is not bad enough to get a lottery pick.
SVG isn’t doing anything more than stating the obvious. There’s a ton of insight in that brain and I don’t know why it’s not coming out. Maybe it’s because it’s not his own team he’s bitching about after a game.
And, that’s your one. If you ever call me a Celtics fan again…
The Sixers are such an entertaining franchise. The Lakers provided the goods in the regular season, and the Sixers brought the drama to the playoffs.
I don’t know wteff the Knicks are doing but they’ve got to step it up. The former two are carrying the popcorn industry while I haven’t heard a peep from the Knicks all season. That’s how you know things are really dire in New York.
For sure the Knickerbockers are keeping things on the down low as they lie in wait for the BIG free agent strike. Crouching tiger. Hidden dragon.
Lol Bane just told Steph to “get that defecation out of here”
The Grizzlies are so fun
Stauskas got in the box score tonight for the Celtics!
Just watched the Grizzlies game. Man, congrats to Warriors but wow, I love the Grizzlies. Brooks and Bane are a great combo: athletically very versatile and then their personalities complement so well (fire and ice). Bane will get better I’m sure — I kinda think he’s 10 lbs too big but I just checked and he was thick at TCU too.
Brandon Clark is a deluxe back up big. So tough, so quick…just maybe a little short! But fantastic to bring him off the bench and just run and rebound and dunk.
JJJ leaves me cold, as I’ve said before, but I recognize he has a lot of talent.
And to have Ja to pull everything together and to make the tough plays? Fantastic. Ja will need to learn (like Luca) to pick his spots. Hope he has time to do so.
Anyway, heck of a year for Grizz and I look forward to a couple more at that level. Hope they break through.
It’s interesting that they don’t drop off that much without Ja. Jones is a good player and I’d like the Pistons to have a look at him as a value signing instead of Brunson, but he’s not THAT good.
I’m not convinced Brunson is either.
So going deep value for Pistons … John Wall for $10-12?
You see the ball movement without Ja? Immaculate.
Jones is definitely more conventional with the pick and roll, and seemingly more predictable.
This is disgusting. I hate this.
We are all Heat fans. #HeatCulture
Celtics-Warriors is easily the most fun possibility left
Good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, Heat in 4.
Question just out of curiosity.
What is so annoying about the Celtics to you all except that it’s THE Celtics?
Giannis is my favorite player in the NBA right now, and not even close. So I was definitely rooting for him and the Bucks. But when I think about the Celtics, I see the amazing duo of Tatum/Brown that is so exciting to watch. I also see a young team that is slowly coming together year after year, and becoming awesome. Seems kind of fun.
Smart and Williams are really unlikeable, I’ll give you that
Their fans.
EDIT: I like their players (even Smart though Williams is annoying.) But every shot of the crowd got me rooting for the Bucks like they were the 04 Pistons.
Luka’s unstoppable.
Mavs made did a great job of working in some secondary creators (Brunson and Dinwiddie) to diversify the offense. And Jason Kidd has them playing a level of defense I didn’t think their roster was capable of.
Luka Draymond should be fun
With this Dallas win UM locks in a former player NBA champion
