Im a total NBA playoff bandwagon fan (I think the lack of effort and player-resting culture during the regular season is just super boring, though I get that the teams are totally incentivized to do it…just make the season shorter!!), and dont follow contract stuff close at all…but would anyone be mad at the Pistons for paying Poole whatever he is worth after this season? Seems like a great fit next to Cade/Bey and then you can draft one of the unicorns instead of Ivey?

Golden State will pay him whatever he wants too and I’m sure he’d rather play for the Warriors than the Pistons.
But I do agree that if he was an option he’d be an incredible fit on the Pistons.

He had an incredible game. And even though he got beat badly on D sometimes, he actually made some good defensive plays as well.

I would love for the Pistons to get him but I think, as someone mentioned, GSW will likely offer him a contract. He can win championships now as long as Draymond, Steph, and Klay are playing. He won’t and shouldn’t move.
