There’s not much doubt JP is a better offensive player than Klay. Right? I mean, I feel crazy to say it.

If he keeps this up? Maybe.

Feels crazy to even have this be a point of discussion… but… good for JP!

He certainly is right now.

Duncan is probably headed for a DNP-CD tonight.

Yeah, Strus took his starting job, Oladipo his rotation spot.

Loving these maize leggings with the blue uniforms that Grizzlies got going on. Michigan should try this.

Boy you got a prayer in Memphis.

Do yourself a favor and watch. This guy is just absurd.

Poor Jordan Poole…

No leggings would be even better.

Incorrect.

Suggested compromise – calf-length? Not sure if those would be called capri leggings?

He had 5 fouls at that point so pretty clear he was trying not to foul. Morant still did him dirty.

I mean, him fouling Morant, I believe, 4 times is an indication he was getting cooked in general.

A sobering night, and a reminder that for all his offensive skills, Poole has stuff too work on - the Grizzlies spent the 2nd half getting Poole switched on Ja basically every possession, and Poole couldn’t do much (I’d also argue they may need to consider ditching the switching).

Yeah was surprised they didn’t switch things up defensively. I mean Ja was their offense. He scored almost half their points and he did it with relative ease. Gotta try something else eventually

Especially when the 5 guys on the floor are Ja, a crippled Desmond Bane, Zaire Williams, DeAnthony Melton, and Brandon Clarke. You probably need to consider a double to make ANY of those guys do ANYTHING.

So yeah, bad D from Jordan, not really helped by Kerr.

‘A sobering night’ A bit of an exaggeration lol He hit 20 pts on 50% FG eff. Jordan has been a solid defender this year, he just got stuck defending the opposition’s best man following GPII’s injury.
