If you consider Caleb a key contributor in 21/22, then, sure, you can consider JP a key contributor his soph season. It’s somewhat semantic, I would consider only Eli, Hunter and DJ as key contributors on 21/22, as they made “key” contributions on a regular basis and they were not easily replaced. If we had simply used Terrance Williams in place of Caleb, I think the team would have ended up in pretty much the same place. If we had lost Eli or Hunter, we would have been screwed, so I consider them key contributors.
However, notice the drift in the conversation. I used the word “key”, not Dylan. Dylan’s quote was “Poole was a huge part of a really good UM team.” That’s the statement that I considered revisionist and still do. (Pretty high brow forum that we can throw around words like revisionist )
I know stupid arguments happen on forums all the time, but this has to be one of the most asinine arguments I’ve seen in a while.
Shutting it down after yesterday. Maybe a … promise?
It was the best of times (transfer speculation), it was the worst of times (relitigating the contribution level of a guy who left Michigan three years ago).
Ahh, peak offseason.
what if Jordan Poole transferred
I can’t even
I heard he was going #30 to OKC!
Wisconsin guard Johnny Davis has been working out in Miami in preparation for the draft. It’s safe to say he does not miss Madison. When one reporter asked how he liked Miami, he was definitive.
“It’s definitely a lot better than being in Wisconsin,” he said.

A guy that many people thought might be hot on the transfer portal
Then you weren’t watching.
“I need a great picture for my NBA Draft announcement. I’ll sit here with a basketball in my outstretched arms, will you take it from a low angle? No, angle the camera from lower. Even lower. Lay on the ground and look up at me. It’s essential that my open legs proudly and prominently display my crotch to get this message across. Perfect, that’s exactly what I was envisioning. Who needs Tipton?”
