Good news is if Houstan has a promise presumably Juwan would know he needs to move on.
Bad news is that although we get Hunter back we have very little chance of being a contending team outside of someone on the team making a huge, unexpected leap or Malachi Smith coming
There are several teams with multiple second round picks. I guess if you just want to leave and a team told you they will pick youā¦thatās enough reason? Iggy was similar and just wanted to go and was fine taking the long way to the leagueā¦
While we all know his faults and donāt think he would do well at some of the combine stuffā¦I bet he shoots incredible in an empty gym so one GM can fall in love with the 6-8 guy that doesnāt miss on open shots?
Maybe Murray knows heās a steal in the second, so heās betting on himself to play one more year at Iowa and be the alpha and move up 30 spots? Why go to the combine and leave a bad first impression?
Also was going to say the same. It would seem to me that our lack of portal involvement indicates he would be back. But at the same point if we suddenly start being linked to portal folks here in the next few days the writing may be on the wall.
Iāve been of the mind we are likely working in the portal. Not like thereās been tons of guys announcing lists or committing or anything. Malachi Smith is in the draft process also
I am of the same thought and reminded of Dylan saying that Michigan tends to link up suddenly to people and things happen quickly. They are not an Arkansas or Illinois and throw their name out to EVERYBODY. And I could see Juwan making inroads with some of the portal guys going thru the process and having that pick up speed once the in/out decision is made.
Are we of the impression that HDās NIL deal could keep him around two years? Because that would be cool and he could end up one of Michiganās all time leaders.
