Anyone know when the lists will be made public?
Individuals will be known as agents release data. Final list wonāt be known until everyone accepts or declines.
Calling it now that Diabate will wow people in workouts, but have no idea if Houstan will shoot out the lights in an empty gym and get good enough buzz to stay in, which I think he needs to do.
I feel like the higher the draft picks from the B1G the better they will be in the NBA (not counting Michiganās guys).
Who are the top B1G nba prospecta?
Keegan Murray
Johnny Davis
Malaki Barnham
EJ Liddell
Ron Harper Jr.
I am Ron Harper Jr mega fan and I think heāll will be an incredible success. Fat is potential and this dude is a bucket getter and hard nosed defender. Whoever gets him in the second round will be singing all the way to the bank.
EJ will also be great, heās just not as good of a defender as Ron Harper. Malaki will develop into a very dependable guard imo.
I think Johnny Davis and Keegan are tweeners who will be busts at the next level.
Jaden Ivey, Purdue University
Murray, Ivey, and Johnny Davis are projected lottery picks. Branham is moving up mock drafts and considered a 1st rounder, with potential late lottery or high teens. Liddell Iāve seen in the 20ās in some mocks. I think those are the only potential 1st rounders as of right now. Others could jump into the first based on combine invites and workouts obviously.
I think Murray is going to be good. I am not sure about Davis because he isnāt very big, isnāt a great shooter, and relies a decent amount on getting to the line.
Keegan has a pretty jumper and a versatile offensive game. Think heāll have a long career.
Total unknown since he hasnāt played since high school, but some team is going to fall in love and take him top-4 I think.
I see Keegan Murray as a Mikail Bridges type if not clone.
I just worry that heās a jack of all and master of none, and just a slight bit unathletic and tweenery. Very well could be wrong.
Ope, I completely forgot the highest ranked one. I feel like his range of outcomes could be anything from all star to bench guard. OK, I think Ron Harper Jr will have the second best career.
I respect your opinion, but Ron Harper Jr will not stick in the NBA, let alone have the 2nd best career of the group. Dude has almost 0 athleticism which is pretty crucial to play the SF/PF position.
Plus that shot put jumper would never work in the NBA against the length he will face.
Jaden Ivey is the best B1G NBA prospect and itās not close IMO. I know James Edwards liked Murray a whole deal better than Ivey but Murray is just meh to me. Ivey has potential to be an elite NBA player.
I donāt see it tbh. Bridge is longer and is better shooter and defender than Murray.
When I see Ivey I see another Oladipo type. He will be a good NBA player but not sure he is a difference maker.
Agree. To simplify I think Murray is more skilled but Ivey is way more talented. Classic floor/ceiling comp.
And Ivey had the burden to be the creator while not having much spacing due to Edey and Williams. Heās going to be a lot better in terms of going downhill with his elite athleticism. Ivey has improved leap and bounds from inconsistent freshman year to a top 5 pick.
If thereās a reason for optimism for Michigan if they have Diabate and Houstan back. Itās the sophomore leap for both plus Bufkin.
Calendar is all kinds of messed up from college coaches perspective. Would be really helpful if either NBA or college transfer deadline moves so that invites are known before portal closes.
