Really bad move by Juzang to stay another year when his stock was at a stratospheric high last year after that ridiculous tourney run. At this point, why not just stay at UCLA and try to catch fire again.

He got that UCLA bag

The thing is that Juzang wasn’t gonna get drafted last year. He bombed the NBA pre-draft workouts.

It’s going be so fascinating to see because he totally changed his playing style for kofi.

Also means Illinois officially didn’t make the second weekend in the entire Frazier-Dosunmu-Cockburn era.

A weight has been lifted off my shoulders

Cockburn already entered the NBA draft twice in 2020 and 2021 and cannot withdraw his name from consideration for a third time, according to league rules, making him ineligible to return from an NCAA standpoint.

Which rules are these?

Apparently that’s a rule:

Early entrants can withdraw from the NBA draft only twice – and if they do, they’re not allowed to withdraw again should they declare a third time before exhausting their college eligibility. For example, Rutgers junior Corey Sanders can enter the draft after withdrawing as a freshman and sophomore, but he can’t test the waters. Should he go undrafted, he technically could return to school as long as he files a letter to his college athletic director declaring his intentions before the NCAA deadline. An obscure NCAA rule conflicts with NBA rules, an NBA official confirmed to ESPN.com, creating this quasi-loophole in which a prospect could play his final college seasons as an undrafted free agent.

Can’t remember it ever really coming into play, but also feels hard to even come up with a “evaluate three times” scenario. Kudos to Corey Sanders.

If only we could have added no B1G titles to this too.

Thanks Wisconsin

Been seeing talk that he is ineligible for this year’s draft. But I’ve yet to see real reporting from a reputable source.
