Some dubious officiating, though. Breakaway layup for CT saw a foul on the shooter long before she hit the layup. Baylor TO was preceded by a CT foul. . .

Everyoneâs been acting like Houston has suddenly become world-beaters before this game and uhhhh they almost lost to Rutgers and their path to the final four even with a win in this game would be: 15-seed, 10-seed, 11-seed, 12-seed. Iâm not buying.

Houstonâs offense is really just the guards tossing it back and forth right now
I still think theyâre good, I had them in the Final Four, but definitely an easy path and I expect Baylor to beat them.

Forcing lob passes is one of the focal points of the 1-3-1 defense (my team ran this as our primary defense in high school!), and Houston is playing right into it.

Houston is a poor manâs Baylor. Personally I think both teams present a match up issue for Michigan, but if we meet, it will be for all the marbles.

Granted, this is a weird Covid year and seeding was trickier than usual but thatâs still pretty crazy.
