Iowa was 8/25 from three and 23/43 from two. Credit Oregon for its blocks, I guess, but if you play that game again with those same looks, Iowa scores 90+, not 80.
Yeah, but Oregon would just score 120. No one can beat the PAC12 this year. Not Gonzaga, not 1990 UNLV, not 1972 UCLA, not the 1996 Bulls. No one.

If by “top 5” you mean “undefeated champion” then I agree. The worst team in the PAC12 would have finished undefeated in any other conference this year.

Amazing defense by Oregon, to hold them to a mere 1.07 points per possession. I see now why Charles Barkley and Jim Jackson thought they were basically the second coming of the Bad Boys.
Imagine if Michigan’s defense were as talented. They’d have beaten Iowa 79-72 instead of, uh… 79-57.

You have no control over what a group of 18-22 year old athletes do on the court. All you can do is know that you have no control over it and enjoy it. If they lose, its not a reflection on your life in any way and your life will go on. You will experience happiness and enjoyment in life, regardless of the outcome of the game tonight.

This is not the kind of team we usually lose to. They are way under us in the fancy stats. They are not in the PAC12. Their coach is not as good as ours.
And we’re just going to get murdersquashed by Colorado next week anyway.

If Michigan were to win tonight and stay within 20 next week against Colorado, I think the committee has to consider advancing Michigan. Clearly, the B1G is a major handicap, and the PAC is a conference of world-ending titans, so it’s only fair.
