2020 Transfer Market

Brown told Rivals.com he plans to file a waiver request to gain eligibility for next season but “wouldn’t be mad” if it’s not granted.

"I just have to do what I’m going to do. But I’m pretty much 100% sure that I’ll get the waiver, so I’m not too concerned,” he said.

Is the one time transfer vote officially not happening today? GP wrote the next time they would vote would be January, is that right?

looks like Eastern has “confirmed” he is coming on Brown’s IG announcement. FWIW

One time transfer not happening

And I’ll bet the coaching staff at Georges’ alma mater is furiously hoping it’s one of said seven schools.

Here’s McClung’s list of seven.

So no Tennessee? Of course Ant source is wrong this time.

If they were smart, they just let everyone do the no sit out this year because of COVID.

The next year, adopt the rule.

No waivers to bother with.

Amen! A perfect time to do this

No one-time transfers yet.

For my McClung fans, does this sound like a situation you would have wanted to sign up for?

No. I think it also says something that his list includes some shady programs. I watched a lot of Georgetown last year and liked what I saw from him on the court, but that does not sound like it would’ve been a good situation for Michigan.

I’m not thrilled about Eastern having one foot in AA and another (imaginary) foot in the NBA either. As long as he’s not making any positional demands, however, it’s less unappealing.

I always thought Brazdeikis was planning to be a one-and-done from the moment he arrived, but at least he didn’t explicitly say so publicly and I don’t get the sense that he was a bad teammate. He must have ticked Beilein’s box of unpacking his bags.

I’ve likewise always expected Franz to be here for two years. His skill level was such that I didn’t think he’d be around as long as his brother, but it also seemed clear that he wanted the life experience of attending university in the US for at least a couple of years or he would have stayed in Germany.

My understanding on Iggy was he was planning to be back, but once an agent got in his ear, he got pitched to the other side.

If he was really planning the whole time on coming out last year, I wish he would have reclassed and come in a year earlier.
