Of course they did
Well okay then. Looks like the roster today will be the roster they play the season with… Pending Livers decision
A smart move in my opinion. This could have been a free for all with a new rule and Covid-19 concerns pushing transfer decisions.
Personally, I would prefer Kier – a “plus” defender at either guard spot – over McClung. I know Michigan, supposedly, is not among Kier’s final three.
Even though McClung is probably better at creating his own shot. Kier, as closer to a “3&D” option would be a better on-court fit, in my opinion, with Smith or Jackson or Bajema. And late game with a lead, would be a solid option to close out a game alongside Brooks (defense and FT shooting). A player like McClung either beats out Smith for playing time or probably doesn’t have a role on the team?
Seems like immediate eligibility is NOT off the table right now.
Tyler Harris commits to Iowa State. Had some initial Michigan interest.
Agree that there should some quality transfer options after May 20. Let’s hope we can find something that fits the need.
This one is interesting 3pt shooting numbers arent great but he can guard and create his own shot. Also a Chicago kid so Juwan likely has some ties to him.
Got a good kick out of this freeman liberty post from a northwestern fan
“He’s a proven scorer, but I’d be surprised if NU goes after him this time. They are in on some big-time kids and really banking on that 2021 class to be a program-changer. I doubt that they’d use a scholarship on JFL at this point. The fact that he spurned them last year to stay at Valpo makes it even more unlikely.”
I dont think northwestern is in position to be turning down a kid of freeman-liberty’s ability at all.
This Northwestern is suddenly in on big-time recruits? The one with decreasing win totals over the past four seasons?
Now, that’s funny.
I thought the Pete Nance class was supposed to be game changing according to them?
Interesting name. Shot is an issue but he looks like he has the athletic tools to make an impact. More of a downhill/transition guy than a shooter.
He was in the portal last year, took an OV to Northwestern and then went back to Valpo.
Really quick jumping into those passing lanes.
Would think a Chicago school given this statement.
Illinois, Northwestern, Depaul or Marquette come on down! Marquette is only an hour and a half away.
