2020 - F - Isaiah Todd (Commit)

He’s still following Jarron Faulds on Twitter. Which probably means he doesn’t know who Jarron Faulds is

That seriously made me laugh out loud. Some needed levity in these trying times.

“People here”- I’ve been here since day 1.

We disagree. I offered an opinion. I’m not going to
edit my opinion on a message board to make sure a mother of a recruit is ok with what I have to say.

Hope he sticks!

Waits until the last day, SMDH.

He wasn’t coming for awhile and the coaching staff knew it. Publicly, It’s the vibe they put out for the last 4 weeks. Some just chose not to accept it.

It’s the first day they went public, that all.

Then who did we recruit to replace him? What is the plan?

2021 i assume at this point

Replace Todd?

You mean Johns, Wagner and Livers?

We needed Christopher, not Todd.

And Terrence Williams, who doesn’t have Todd’s upside or length, but will be a very good 3-4 year college player.

May be true…but then how do you explain Jace?

They thought they were getting JC for sure.

Todd, in their mind was getting off the fence but towards overseas (clearly), but they weren’t going to push him there. Looking at it from their perspective you always have to handle things with delicacy.

Plus, they now have room to add a few grads.

I don’t think Jace is good enough to be on scholarship anyway.

Daishen Nix in that team photo made me do a double-take.

Isaiah Todd and the G league Ignite team are on espn right now playing Jordan Poole, Jeremy Linn and the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Impressed with how good the Ignite team looks. Nice mix of young players and vets. After watching a lot of non-Michigan basketball, this is so much easier on the eyes.

I didn’t realize Jeremy Lin is in the GLeague now

Dashien Nix and Kuminga look good so far. So does Jordan Poole.

Only been watching a few minutes, but Todd looks composed on D and hasnt played outside of himself on O (but super fluid) … maybe this experience has been a good dose of reality for him

The fact that they look as good as they do is certainly a big loss for the “they need to come back for another year to develop X skill” crowd

Who was saying that? I hope nobody here was. You don’t even need to look at the guys in the G League look no further than Darius Bazley. Dude didn’t even play a game for over a year, took an internship, drafted in round 1. Now in year 2 he’s averaging 12 points and 7 boards.
