Interesting Will Wade and JB in the same gym after the same kid, and yet on opposite ends of the spectrum of honesty and ethical behavior as coaches.

Is Wade still bringing his chaperone or does that not apply anymore since their AD stepped down?

Itā€™s alright, Wadeā€™s got his official SEC bag to keep him company on the road.

I hate to generalize because it isnā€™t fair to the playersā€¦but his decision will answer some questions. That said, I have a hunch we might land Franz and Iggy isnā€™t 100 percent gone so we need to keep some powder dry over the coming weeks.

Assuming Iggy returns, I wonder if he will move to the SG spot. He is much more dangerous attacking the rim from the top of the key and he can shoot. Needs to work on passing to be effective there. I donā€™t think he will play the 3 in JBā€™s offense.

If you are going to play Livers/Iggy at the 3/4 then Iggy is probably always going to play the four on offense (because of his handedness). Thatā€™s true.

Good to see your contributions out in the UM community again, Bob.

Livers has a better handle than Iggy?

Probably yes but he means left handed and right handed I believe.

No, but Livers is right handed and Brazdeikis is left handed. The only difference between the three and the four is what side of the court they are on.

Is that the only difference? I thought the 3 was more involved in the perimeter rotation (at the top of the key) than the 4. I always envisioned the 4 playing the baseline to the basket vs the 3 playing the wing and having the option of going to the right or left from the perimeter. I would think the 3 needs to have a better handle and be a better passer for that reason. Maybe I am off a bit

thanks dylan

know this isnt the right thread but X, Wagner, Iggy, Livers, Teskeā€¦ huge line up, could be real hard to deal with

I think that is how it tends to work out because most players are right-handed and you want to run more action through that side of the court. I donā€™t know why you couldnā€™t flip things and run stuff in the opposite direction in a situation where you have Livers and Iggy at those spots though.

Well we have the last visit. And hopefully will have an idea of what he is going to do after that visit.

I would guess that Memphis and LSU are his leaders. He seems to speak most glowingly about those two. Iā€™ll say this - if he chooses LSU he will be taking a big risk that Wade is even around by the time he gets to campus and that they are even eligible for the tournament next year. Hopefully Michigan can sway him on his visit.

With the team$ mentioned recruiting him, I worry about what will $way$ hi$ college deci$ion?

Explosive player with a lot of on-court qualities that would seem to fit well with Michiganā€™s style & need, but there have been a couple recruiting situations where hindsight makes you glad you missed out on the recruit

Stop. This kind of post is not necessary.

Correct me if Iā€™m wrong but isnā€™t next weekend a live eval weekend? Assuming JB will be on the road but how does that work with Lesterā€™s visit? Wouldnā€™t think coach would bring in a recruit on an eval weekend if he didnā€™t think there was a chance of getting that recruit.

LQ is actually visiting April 29 and 30, which is next Monday and Tuesday so there shouldnā€™t be any issues.
