This may be the wrong place to ask this question, but I will do it anyway: Why might Jordan Poole have opted out of any 5v5 scrimmage playing at the Combine?
He knows it won’t go well for him. He’s planning on getting drafted entirely on shooting drills.

Kids can’t wait forever for the coaches decision. Could be weeks, or even a month. Other colleges want them and have open spots for now. Those aren’t permanent either and they actually have coaches. I figured he’d get his release. Kids aren’t going to usually just flat out say they are leaving immediately following coaching changes. They usually wait a couple days to see if a immediate hire is made and if not they explore their options like Wilson. Nobody should be surprised by this.

This thing shouldn’t take past this weekend, let alone a month. As I said earlier, it took osu 4 days to hire Holtmann and he wasn’t their guy from the start. They did a full blown true national search.
They probably had their AD actually on campus while ours spent a lot of the past two weeks not even in the state 
Yep. Particularly since we’re running a “Friends with the AD” search instead of a national one.
Wilson mentioned Florida as one of the 4 schools he’s heard most from since Beilein left. Let’s just throw the bag at White and bring him in and retain Wilson

Seems like a rational approach to me. It is nice that John Beilein reached out to Jalen after making the decision to leave Michigan.

Jalen Wilson had an Instagram Live interview today. It’s saved for about the next 16 hours on @tipton.edits if you guys want to watch it.
I did not pay attention to it as I was watching the Bucks vs Raptors, but I did overhear that the interviewer saying he believes Michigan has no chance anymore on Jalen. Unfortunate if true.
Just watched it. Not much time devoted to future potential at Michigan. UNC and KU got much of the air as to be expected. Also, as you mentioned the interviewer clearly stated that he thought Michigan was out of it after Jalen signed off. Guess we will see but it doesn’t sound promising for us
I don’t think Michigan is getting Wilson back.
