2019 NCAA Tournament Games Open Thread

So now Purdue fans can commence in a cat fight about how satisfying this season has been.

This was the farthest a Painter team has ever gone in the tourney - but he still hasn’t made the Final Four. Purdue overall hasn’t made it since 1980. Yikes.

What a game from Edwards - I cant recall an individual performance like that in a game of this magnitude.

I like Purdue next year - losing Cline will hurt but we just saw Williams and Haarms can play together. I don’t hold much hope for Nojel but I like Wheeler and Hunter.

Regular season banner and the farthest they’ve gone since 2000.

Auburn showing some gumption here

I can’t get into this game. Two slimy SEC coaches going head to head - meh. I guess Auburn would be more of a change. I dunno.

Auburn player was pissed off that he didn’t get the ball for the final shot. Was yelling at his teammate “GIVE ME THE BALL” after he bricked the game winner. Doesn’t seem like the best way to build someone up, but what do I know.

#1 Harper on Auburn has a gear most can just dream about. I’m amazed watching him blow by people

Then he mouthed an exasperated f-bomb. March madness. I love it.

Yeah Harper and Brown are turbo-charged

All those top recruits at Kentucky and they still can’t get to the Final Four. Not an easy task. Not to be taken for granted.

Hopefully we can say the same for Duke in a few hours.

You want Sparty in the Final Four instead? I’ve got to pull for the Dukies this time.

Go Michigan State?!?!?!
I really don’t care too much who wins. I guess I’m 51% pulling for MSU but wouldn’t be upset to see Zion Williamson in FF.
I already know I’ll be hoping for Auburn Vs Texas Tech to reach finals with Texas Tech prevailing

My second favorite team in college basketball is “whoever plays Duke”.

I also like Cassius.

Xavier Tillman is one Beilein missed on. Shit happens. He didn’t look that great early in his HS career. Kind of a pudgy slow kid. Those days are long gone. Probably would have had inside track with his mom being a UM grad

Probably Tillman’s most important game, personally. If he slows Zion down and gets lots of rebounds he will skyrocket up in the minds of the pro scouts. I think he is nba ready now.

At his height, Tillman needs to grow into a credible three point shooter to play in the NBA. He’s the same height as Paul George, I’m not sure his dive game translates to the NBA.

Tillman is legitimately frustrating Zion. Never seen that this year from an individual player

There is always room on an nba roster for a shut down 4 who can rebound.
