As of this second, Carsen Edwards is 47 points away from tying Glenn Rice’s record for points in a NCAA tourney. Seems likely to break it if they made the title game…
Missed call there helps Purdue. Missed free throws have hurt though. Purdue 7/10 and UVA 13/16.
I’m definitely rooting for PU but I don’t mind UVA - I like them a lot more than the other ACC contenders.

All of my ACC friends down in NC want UVA out of the Tourney because they are afraid of them.

I would have been ok with Carsen breaking it, the way he has been playing. Wasn’t a huge fan during the regular season, but he’s been unreal in this Tourney. What a way to lose. Grasped defeat from the jaws of victory.

They kind of shit the bed with the decision to press on the last possession in regular time. With 6 seconds, you can stick to your base defense. They got punished.
