I don’t understand why they are still recruiting Bowen despite not offering him.

I’ve always assumed he was a lock for MSU. Is that still the consensus?

yeah that makes no sense. At least offer the guy. Who cares if he’s probably gonna go to MSU, if he lands in your lap youre laughing.

It’s assumed he’s a MSU lock, but I know somebody close to the family and it’s not a lock. Not saying he won’t end up there, but he doesn’t see MSU as a 1 or 2 & done school right now.
For the same exact reason that the “won’t offer until June 15 of junior year” as a recruiting obstacle that hinders our results is a red herring. These kids know they’re being recruited and what they would need to do to get the offer.
Maybe Bowen hasn’t submitted a transcript, or taken the full academic tour, or some other thing that the staff is asking. I honestly have no idea, but the point is, no offer doesn’t mean we aren’t recruiting, and that’s always been the case.

Thanks for this. We sit here and look at the one or two variables we are hazily aware of, then pronounce judgement from on high. It’s often purest nonsense.

Chezaroo, I’ll take landing plan B guys at this point.
Recently, we’ve ended up with Plan C and D. A plan B guy doesn’t sound all that bad.
