Winston, Battle, Towns, Teske.
As Goodin's monster year continues to progress, you can bet his offer sheet will as well. Seems very unlikely he is realistic for M. IMO.
I’ll be shocked if he leaves the state of Kentucky. Reminds me of Kyrie Irving.
Nice RT @SportsTaylor: Quentin Goodin scores 26 pts & 8 rebs in win over #2 ranked Henderson Co http://t.co/CqXlFW6nIy @vaughtsviews

New film on Goodin. His agility and change of direction at that size is very impressive. The kid is built like a linebacker but has the agility and flexibility of smaller guard or wire thin wing. Really reminds me of Baron Davis
Matt, stop teasing us with this kid! He’s not coming here.

I’m hoping one day, I just wake up to a report that we’ve obtained a commitment from some top 25 kid that had heavy interest in another school for a year or so…it’s been done so many times to us. At some point you would think good karma will come, but somehow I doubt it ever happens
As mentioned before I would take Goodin over Winston any day
For those of you in the Saginaw area, Cassius Winston (U of D) will be squaring off against Saginaw Aruthur Hill (Brian Bowen & Eric Davis) at Delta College on Saturday at 7pm. Would love to hear a first hand scouting report.
Put this in the other thread by accident, but Beilein is watching Jamal Murray today.

I think it was propery placed in the other thread, Murray not a PG in my view. Strictly a wing/SG, and I think most national scouts agree at this point. Has some ability to create for himsel and occasionaly others, but at his best as a scorer.

Couldn’t make the game, but just got off the phone with an ex-coaching buddy who went. UD won easily by 15, and Winston completely dominated. Ended up with 33 and 8. His take was that Cassius got to the rim whenever he wanted, and was by FAR the best player on the floor.

Any word on how Bowen looked?

Nothing spectacular. He thinks he “may” have had double figures. This was the second game of a back to back for Hill, says they just looked a step slow tonite. But he was immensely impressed with Winston.
I was at the game and like it was said earlier Winston got to the rim with ease and had a few nice step backs. Eric Davis had a solid game got hot in the 2nd quarter but relatively quite in the second half. Bowen had 0 in the first half ended with under 10 and did not look good. He could not take over the game. He was also guarded by kids 6’3" most of the game. Highlight of the game was a Winston lob to Greg for a slam dunk.
Curious about Bowen - I’ve always thought he was overrated but then the last film I posted he looked a bit more dynamic with the ball. Now I hear 2 reports basically saying he looked mediocre. Perhaps just an off night?
Perhaps but he was guarded by a 6’3" not the most athletic kid. I was expecting at least 20 out of a top 10 player with a mismatch. To be top 25 you should be able to take over the game when your team needs it.
Ty Lawson written all over him

Bowen was in foul trouble early and sat most of the first half. It seemed to effect his aggressiveness until late in the second half. But yes, would consider it an off night against Detroit Jesuit
Dylan, have any idea if we are looking at the 6’9" sophmore from Detroit Jesuit? I think his name is Ike Eke. This kid was impressive, alot of tools, athlete, little raw but already has a ton of muscle and ran the floor as fast as anyone on the court against Arthur hill. Heard its his first year playing basketball in the states, I guess he had to sit out last year, thought I heard someone say he was from Africa. Guarantee we’ll be hearing about this kid in the near future…
I am going to say no look at the track record when was the last time J. B recruited a long athletic Big?
