What marathon games are you guys looking forward to?

Personally, I think Indiana is really underrated. They have alot talent and are filled with alot of guys on their roster who can score in a variety of ways and shoot from the perimeter at a high clip. Their only going to get better once Stanford Robinson and Troy Williams get reacclimated back into the lineup. The only thing that gives me pause with them is Crean and their lack of size in the front court. Perea is a freak athlete, but he is only a generous 6’8 and their playing him at center.

The thing that concerns me with IU, besides Crean, is that most of their roster can’t stay out of trouble. Indeed they have lots of talent, but a lot of their players seem to be focusing on the wrong things.

The issue with me with regards to OSU, is they have no dominant scorer who can really take over a game once again. It looks as if Sam Thompson and Russell are their go to guys offensively. Russell is a really good player, but as good as he is expecting him to be the guy night in and night out for the entire season is a lot to ask. He isn’t a Jared Sullinger type of freshman that is going to come in and dominate the league carry them to a Big Ten title and the top seed in the NCAA tournament. The really good OSU teams that Matta has had were filled with multiple guys who score the sullingers, david lighty, Jon Diebler, Will Buford, DeShaun Thomas, Daquean Cook, Mike Conley, Greg Oden, Evan Turner, etc… I don’t see that with this OSU team. I think they will be a much more talented team next season when guys like Diop, Tate, Loving, and Russell(depending on if he goes or not) are their core guys. I think the decision to pass/not even recruit Caris LeVert is going to come back and haunt them much like the decision to pass up on Trey Burke did. Imagine this OSU team with LeVert as their go to guy? Could have potentially been a special team with him.

Same thing for Colorado, they were very respectable at one point in time.

Plan on watching Oregon-Detroit myself to scout the two teams that we are going to face next.

A+ Michigan fan of the week.

I'll tell you what, the freshman Russell from OSU can light it up, I think a lot of people are sleeping on OSU this year. I think they finish second in the conference.

I know Matta always has his teams ready to play good defense. But I wonder how much losing Craft is going to hurt.

Honestly, they are losing little, if any, offense from Craft. Defensively, Scott may actually be a better defender than Craft. Having Craft and Scott is obviously a bonus because you have 2 guys capable of shutting down the opposition’s best perimter player, but I don’t think OSU will miss Craft much on the offensive side.

I also want to see the Auburn vs Colorado game. Bruce Pearl era begins…can Auburn be good at basketball again? It’s been a loooooong time for them…

Yeah that was one of the uglier games I saw last year too. OSU should be able to score much better this season. For as good as they were on defense, man were they atrocious on the offensive end. This team should be much more balanced I would think.

Man, that was one ugly game. I know I love defense, but I remeber watching that game thinking "this has to be the most non-entertaining brand of basketball I've ever seen".......it was brutal.

It was definitely brutal but “the most non-entertaining brand of basketball I’ve ever seen” (for me at least) is still Penn State-Wisconsin in the 2011 B10 Tournament.

Marquette at Ohio State is one I want to catch, in addition to the games Matt mentioned. I think Wojo will have Marquette competing on a high level as early as next season, so I'm intrigued to see what they look like at this point and I want to get a good luck at the Buckeyes and their Freshmen. Just looking at rosters on paper - it looks to me that they are the only legitimate threat to the Badgers and the B1G title this season.

It has to be better than the OSU/Marquette game last season

UK/KU & MSU/Duke are obviously huge games, but I think I’m going looking forward to SMU/Gonazaga…seems like it could be an intriguing matchup for a defensive oriented coach (Brown) to matchup with vs an offensive oriented team in Gonazaga.

Don’t know how much 1-3-1 we practiced at this point in the season but it looks like it would be really effective against Oregon. Their guards look allergic to handling the basketball.

Blackmon Jr. is looking reallllly good. So sad he didn't come to UM.

Predictions for MSU/Duke and UK/KU tonight? Will we see an upset tonight?
