ANN ARBOR, Mich. – University of Michigan men’s basketball head coach John Beilein announced today (Monday, June 17) internal promotions for staff members Pete Kahler and C.J. Lee. Kahler will assume the duties as Director of Basketball Operations and Lee will be the Director of Program Personnel.
Kahler and Lee spent the last three seasons as the Wolverines video analyst and administrative specialist, respectively. The restructuring within the men’s basketball staff resulted from the departure of former Director of Basketball Operations, Travis Conlan, who resigned his position earlier this month to pursue coaching opportunities.
“We have great continuity with our staff and we are happy to elevate both Pete and C.J. into new positions as a result of this restructuring process,” said Beilein. "Pete has done a fantastic job shaping our video department into one of the most comprehensive in the country. C.J. has proven to be a valuable ambassador for Michigan Basketball since his playing days as a co-captain through his last three seasons as a staff member.
