Yes, which is exactly what led to the general dismay about Tennessee being a 3 and Duke being a 2. Committee seemingly subjectively gave Duke (K’s final ride?) a better seed when Tennessee objectively had the better resume. With a blind comparison, it really wasn’t that close.
