Not exactly sure what the NCAA release says. Basically that they are approving the exploration of how to make it work from what I can tell.

Can you elaborate on the technicality of this? What is and isn’t allowed?
From what I gather, nothing changes for now. The NCAA is just basically making a top down decision to allow decision makers across D1, D2, D3 to investigate and make a rule.
There’s a lot of speculation that it is a “win the headlines” move and the NCAA will then turn around and implement a rule that is probably lacking compared to what many people pushing for NIL want.
