What did Michigan do better than UCLA that half?
Our offensive go-to guy during that drought was Brandon Johns. I’ve seen nothing adjustment-wise that makes me feel confident.
Played arguably their worst half of the year. Down four. Blue’s gonna destroy them.

Halftime adjustments:
1- Whoever Juzang is guarding in the 2nd half, feed them the ball. Gotta force him to guard and/or foul.
2- Get back to valuing the basketball, no turnovers
3- Guard Juzang a little differently. Gotta go with Franz here.
Michigan can easily win this game but we have to see a completely different team come out in the second half. If this team looks even a little bit how they looked in the first half they are toast. We should know pretty quickly
I strongly disagree that playing through HD is the answer (at least in terms of giving him the ball in the post and telling him to score). When’s the last time he just got buckets at will down there?

Indeed - not sure where the exact thing lies. Bad hands, bad looks. I think just that extra half second on delivery and receiving to collect it would be a difference.
Luckily, basketball is a two half game and this particular one is still close.
The game is not over. I’m sorry, but it’s not. We might lose, sure, but it’s not over at halftime.
I can’t understand why Juwan never switched Franz onto Juzang at any point in the half. We have maybe the best defensive player in the country and refused to deploy him on the one guy who was hurting us.

Looked very similar to the first half against OSU in the BTT. UCLA will continue to pack the paint until shots are made.

It’s not like they played well though.
Yes a lot of trends that are likely to turn around in Michigan’s favor. But I also don’t think UCLA will shoot 39% all game

Michigan got fewer points on better shots than UCLA. That trend can easily reverse itself.
