Sort of reminds me of the first half of MSU in Crisler. Team knows what is on the line and is tight. Hopefully the second half is like that one, too.

Here’s my only takeaway from the tournament overall - I think we’re seeing some of the distinct impact of not having Livers available for spacing if we aren’t going to threaten them from 3.

They are going to let a one man team beat them, embarrassing 1st half. Johns is the only one that showed up.

Michigan clearly went into that half planning to play through Dickinson. He had four bad possessions early but then was largely absent from the game after his shift on the bench.
He’s the answer for Michigan against this defense, but he needs to play well and needs touches.

I’m not sure how the coaches are going to teach them to make any sort of jump shot during halftime. The keys are simple. Hit a shot and stop turning it over
Played about as bad as we can, Johnny Juzang channeled Kemba Walker circa 2011 and we’re down 4, as a team that is nearly always significantly better in the second half than the first. I’m fine.

I think not giving UCLA enough credit for their toughness and craftiness on defense. We’re seeing how Mick Cronin’s teams survived in Cincinnati and he’s brought that out west…

We haven’t been great. but they’re literally all juzang. I hope juwan knows its franz time.
Okay…so Michigan is playing incredibly tight and sloppy on offense. Feel sped up. Meanwhile Juzang is on fire.
But it drives me f**king nuts that the refs fall for a blatant flop by a 230 pound guy acting like he was shot by a bazooka when Hunter touches him and for the first time in TWO YEARS don’t go to the monitor on a hook and hold. How are either of those, with Bo Borowski king of the monitor a thing???

Never help one pass away from the corner unless completely necessary. Those are probably the types of threes that make him good enough to be a 25% shooter.
