NCAA 2021: Michigan vs. LSU Open Thread

Gotta like how little Davis played that first half. I expected Howard to try and force more minutes out of him

The guys who take the shots Thomas takes are the best players on their teams. Is he good enough to be that guy? Does he do anything to help a team other than score?

He’s basically a perfect bench guard who can get buckets. Is that a lottery pick?

Perhaps the 4 spot is the designated inbounder? I know Livers often does it, not sure why that would preclude a separate ball handler in the back court, but just a thought.

Probably needs to play more defense :joy:

He’s made a bunch of contested shots over someone 3 ft shorter than him. He hasn’t done anything else. In the NBA, they’ll be just as tall and athletic.

I honestly believe he can score over their doubles

He takes terrible shots.

If he’s this good offensively, he’s absolutely a lottery pick, IMO. He’s a teenager - other stuff can be taught. You can’t teach … this.

I think in a lot of cases, it isn’t Juwan taking Hunter off the court. It’s Hunter taking himself off the court. Gotta remember that it’s hard to move a 7 foot body up and down the court repeatedly, and his endurance is not at its highest level presumably.

/College Steph Curry raises his hand.

Clarkson is his upside.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Of course we got a flop warning again

Hard to make the entry pass though. I agree if Dickinson has the ball, that’s good for Michigan.

I think he fouled him?

What? The flop was against LSU. I saw it. Unless Brown flopped after that?
