Okay, what did I miss. What…was the call that gave the ball back to Penn State on that turnover?
passing in the style of kalel mullings “f it, schoon’s down there somewhere” except kiser(?) is not over there somewhere
Phelia’s pass off that board was…avante-garde
Did they call that over and back?
lost track of which possession you were talking about
i have been watching for like ten real-time minutes and haven’t seen a single poin
had to stop typing because it became wrong
Watching this team is so frustrating. Too many turnovers and they keep making the same mistakes over and over.
definitely did not expect PSU to use the entire shot clock there, but i guess they got bailed out
Michigan players stand around debating who is going to inbound the ball after a made basket giving PSU MORE TIME TO SET UP THEIR PRESS.
woof. are they always this frustrating to watch?
You are kidding me
Turnover issues are baked in the cake with them to a large degree, but this game is taking it to. a new level.
Part of the issue is that I think Brown is a good passer, but she’s not a good ballhandler. Really nobody is.
well, i have to go to a meeting, so hopefully i was the bad luck
what the heck? that was penn state’s plan?
Well they survived
Maybe introduce Brown and Phelia to everyone and hope for better.
Yeah…haha…

I don’t get to see them enough. What is it about the way they play that just assumes and accepts a bunch of turnovers? I know MSU men sometimes have turnover problems when they have teams that really push the pace so it makes sense they will turn the ball over more. What’s baked into KBA’s system that guarantees a lot of turnovers?
They just tend to not always be crisp passers. Most of their turnovers are going to be passes that get jumped. In the past that often looked like overhead entry passes to the post getting tipped away, but this year you just see poor passing angles many times.
Edit to add: some of this is just player-driven. There are players on the team who are much better passers and less likely to turn the ball over and then some that are more turnover-prone. Greta and Jordan Hobbs seem to be more turnover-prone in their passes. On the other hand, I have been very impressed with the passing acumen (and pass fakes) of Alyssa Crocket which gives me hope for the future in that regard.
LB trades off incredible looks with turnovers, but she creates enough with her passing that you live with the trade-off.
