Yeah, I think that Brown-Nolan-Phelia is a solid starting point for 1-2-3. I’m optimistic on Williams’ ability to be a strong player (we’ve seen several players go from virtually no rotation minutes to solid starter), and while I agree I’d love to see any of the three seniors back, I think I’d like to see Kiser the most.
Both the Indiana freshmen coming in are regarded as shooters - it would be great if one of them can play some to give us a second player worth worrying about beyond three.
My main concern is guard play. Phelia has the athleticism and skill. Need some play making guards. See the starting point guard for South Carolina last night. KBA needs to find one.
Ari Wiggins was the top recruit in this year’s freshman class (higher than Phelia), is a PG, had an injury before the season she carried into it, and eventually had to miss most of it.
Ari played in 16 games. I think she led the team in turnovers per minute, and that’s probably why her PT went way down. She’s still super quick, so I’m excited for her future.
Yeah, I’ve seen a few different rankings, with ESPN being 1. I think there is generally a much wider disparity with women, where less resources are spent by the media to scout them. ASGR (another service) basically had those flipped. Who knows!
