Michigan Women's Hoops

I continue to just be so happy for Greta. “Thanks for sticking with the team; how would you feel about defending a post every game?” She has just worked her tail off admirably in that role. Reppin’ Naperville well! side eyes men’s game thread

And, I mean, Hobbs is just an absolute joy. Going to seriously miss watching her play.

They have two WNBA caliber players. Hildalgo is their best player and Olivia Miles is projected to be the #2 pick in '25 WNBA draft though she struggled as of late.

If ND regains their early season form, they should beat Michigan with ease. If not, Michigan can beat them.

I guess my thing is that we’ve hung with teams of this general caliber (South Carolina, USC, UCLA) for like 32 minutes all year. I don’t tihnk we’re THAT far off from clipping one them.

Here’s hoping this is the one that gets them over the hump! A Sweet 16 in the first year with these freshmen would be, well, sweet!

Notre Dame up 104-49 with 2 minutes left

Obviously ND is elite-elite and playing at home so expectations should be low. But after the off-season, the reliance on freshmen, making the tournament comfortably, playing the blue-bloods tough, and winning the opening game - this is house money. No pressure at all. Go have some fun and see if we can get some bounces. Not likely to win, but crazier things have happened. The program is in a healthy spot and pointed in an exciting directly (knocking on wood before portal season…)

The University of Michigan is a better place because of KBA

So, like, did Chyra not play a single minute this year?

Maybe their arms will be tired?

Hobbs is my favorite player. She will be missed next year.

Well, I really wasn’t hoping that would be the case.

Notre Dame game is Sunday at 1 PM on ABC

Mine as well. For some reason I love that in her youth she was a skate boarder.

Looks like Miles is listed as questionable today after an ankle injury in their R1 game Friday. May be a little help for us.

Let’s step on some Leprechauns today!

Would have loved to be there! Gonna be a raucous crowd, I bet.
