New York New York is about a 3 minute walk to T-Mobile.
That sounds better than two miles.
As a UMHoopster in NYC, I got very excited until I realized what post this was on and that there wasnât an upcoming game in my backyard. Why in the world is a casino in Vegas called the NY, NY one?
Lol, was about to say the same.
Weâre at the Bellagio and havenât really talked if weâre going to the 1st game or not. Iâm sure 2nd half at least.
Definitely will be up for something
Hopefully um gets a good turnout but this could pretty much be two road games with unlv and Arizona who has a great fan base and typically takes over Vegas.
Arizona took over Crisler Center so they are 100% going to be the primary fanbase at the game. Gotta imagine we outdraw UNLV though
You think we outdraw UNLV in Las Vegas?
Tickets are for both games in a session so I donât think one fan base will have an overwhelming amount to the point of it feeling like a road game. Thatâs dividing tickets by 4 teams and tickets are not close to sold out
I donât fly in until late Friday for the fight so Iâll probably only attend the Sunday game.
UNLV hasnât made a tournament since 2013 and theyâre a west-coast team in a mid-major conference. I would be shocked if theyâre drawing a ton of fans to games.
EDIT:
Their home opener was basically an empty stadium: UNLV Basketball Top 5 Plays vs Gardner Webb - YouTube
Also where will my fellow Wolverines be watching the football game on Saturday?
Thatâs a good question and would like to know a good spot to watch the football game as well.
Itâs way way over the top, but Circa has an amazing Sportsbook.
Plus Juwan and/or the Howard family are hosting an invitation-only event Saturday afternoon at the Legacy Room at Circa.
