Michigan Players in the NBA

Hopefully in return Kidd can get better at coaching and they can put a better supporting cast around Doncic. That supporting cast is trash.

I can see the improvements Poole has made but he comes up with some ridiculous wild shots which probably make Steve Kerr pull his hair out. I also notice Poole still plays D in the sense of allowing guys to shoot and hope they miss.

Worth saying that in all likelihood that Luka pushed for all of this and got his way. Ending up w a Player-GM is a blessing and a curse.

I saw some of that game and there was a 2 minute stretch that was like a 12-0 run for the Spurs. None of that was on Iggy.

That’s not what I said….ā€spending 2 hours withā€ = watching them play a game of the sport of basketball.

Yeah, honestly, Hardaway, Finney-Smith, and Kleber (at least a slightly younger version) are all the sort of guys you’d like to play around Luka…but I think you’d like another guy who can dribble, so Luka doesn’t need to create literally everything. If Brunson were like 6’7" it’d be great!

Contextually your original comment makes more sense now, but I’m just not sure I’d ever heard anyone refer to watching a basketball game as ā€œspending 2 hours with a player.ā€

Well the only question left is who would be the worst NBA player to hang out with 1 on 1 for two hours?

I would probably say Kyrie Irving he just seems utterly out to lunch. I mean it might be fun for 10 minutes or so but after 2 hours you would be saying those 2 hours you will never get back.

I always thought that Sheed would be the guy I’d like to have drinks with. Get that guy going on a topic he cares about and it’d probably be downhill from there.

I have no specific thing to point to here other than to say every teammate Dwight Howard has ever had LOATHES him.

I don’t think that’s true any more. If it was, the Lakers wouldn’t take him back.

Def was true, and I think still is true if you play against him.

The Hawks have two really good wing defenders in Hunter and Reddish. Both are long, active and can defend one on one. Reddish is primed for a breakout season and he’s what will take the Hawks from a really good team to an elite team as long as his offense can show up. That’s also another reason why I don’t think they’ll trade him despite the rumor.

I am Hawks fan and I don’t buy Reddish ever becoming a particularly great offensive player. He doesn’t have a skill to hang his hat on that will be elite imo. Trading Reddish or any of the young guys is more about consolidation. If there’s ever another star on the block, the Hawks have to consider the possibility. Because while I think Reddish and Hunter could become very good, I don’t see either becoming a perennial all star as a likely outcome

Now I am in the minority of Hawks fans on this take haha. Hawks fans think Reddish is the second coming, though pretty much every analysts that I respect disagrees with that

By the way I know there were a lot of Scottie Barnes skeptics on this forum. He looks incredible tonight

Franz 4/5 from 3 :fire: he’s been very good offensively through 2 games

So happy to hear that preseason woes haven’t followed Franz into actual games.

And I’m very surprised about Scottie. He’s looked like a surefire NBA talent ever since he got drafted, he’s destined for great things if he can improve his jumper. Happy to hear tbh seems likes a good dude.
