Caris representing:
Caris hit the dagger to beat the Pistons tonight. Good night all around. Young Pistons played well but preserved the tank and Levert looks fully back.
Moe Wagner traded to the Bulls
Brazdeikis to the Sixers
Hmm…not sure what that means for his future. Feels like he and Markkanen are redundant.
The Bulls also just traded for Nikola Vucevic, who is a stretch big. Probably a tough situation for Moe
Markkanen has been among those Bulls onthetradingblock.
Wizards declined Wagner’s 4th year option, so he had no future with them. At least he gets to have a bit of an extended try out for a new club before free agency this summer. Bulls must like him somewhat because Wagner didn’t need to be included to make it work money wise. Or Wizards just wanted that trade exception.
Not necessarily…
This would devastate me as a Bulls fan. I’ve been waiting for a Michigan player on the Bulls since Jamal Crawford left (other than Walton being on their summer league team one year), and then they go and get one of my favorite all time Wolverines, and then possibly trade him an hour later?
Mo swapped for a rotation player on a good team? Now coached by Brad Stevens? That sounds hopeful.
Wow, that went from kinda crappy for Mo to a major opportunity real quick
I don’t really know what to make of that. Boston is a contender in their eyes and they traded a guy that plays 25 MPG. Makes me wonder if they even plan on keeping him
So Bulls needed the extra body/salary to make the Theis deal work, Wizards get the trade exception. And now Celtics get a $3 mil trade exception for swapping Theis/Wagner. Unfortunately I don’t think Wagner is looked at as much of an asset.
So Wagner is about to be traded for a good center then? Because Boston has Williams and nobody else right now.
I think it’s all about the money. It gets them under the luxury tax after the earlier Fournier trade.
Yeah I assumed it had to be something like that
Moe’s head on a swivel. Oh well, two of the better cities, IMO.
As a Boston resident, I hope he was brought in to be an actual contributor.
